πŸ˜‹ Super easy steel cut oatmeal

Did you know that only 9% of people who set New Year's resolutions will follow through with them till the end of the year?

One of the reasons we quit is that we go too hard from the start, then get tired or lose motivation and quit.

Case in point: Someone decides to eat only healthy, "clean" diet starting January 1st.

They throw away all the snacks in their pantry, buy a ton of vegetables. But then the Superbowl party rolls around, and they stuff their face with chips and guac. This makes them feel like a failure, so they quit their healthy diet streak and go back to their usual ways of eating.

But what if, instead of "going all in", we make small changes, one step at a time?

Like, making sure to eat something nutritious for breakfast, and not giving yourself a hard time the rest of the day until we're ready for the next healthy step.

If eating something nutritious for breakfast resonates with you, I'd like to share with you my recipe for super easy 3-ingredient Instant Pot steel cut oatmeal.

When I say "easy" - I totally mean it! Basically, you just load the ingredients into the bowl of your Instant Pot, press TWO BUTTONS - and walk away only to come back to perfectly cooked, 100% healthy and delicious steel cut oats πŸ˜‹

It's perfect for meal prep: make a big batch of it on the weekend, then reheat and eat it during the week.

Since this recipe only has 3 ingredients, feel free to top your bowl of cooked oatmeal with whatever toppings you like. Our family's go to combination is raisins, chopped walnuts, brown sugar, and cinnamon.

Aimee says on the blog:

"This is the first time I've successfully made steel cut oats in my Instant Pot. I used the slower cooking method and it was perfect. I will be making it like this from now on. Thank you! xo"
