➡️ Vegan cookbooks that are ACTUALLY useful

Do you have any favorite vegan cookbooks?

I love browsing through new vegan cookbooks in bookstores, but I'm very picky about which ones I buy.

For me, a perfect cookbook doesn't have to be written by a popular vegan blogger, or be on the top bestseller list, or have the prettiest pictures.

My perfect cookbook is the one I actually KNOW I'll be using.

How can I know that before I even buy it?

I ask 3 simple questions about the book, and if all answers are YES, I go ahead and buy it.

The questions are:

  1. Is the book easy to navigate?
  2. Does it call for simple, easy to find ingredients?
  3. Are (most) recipes on the healthier side?

Believe it or not, #1 is the most important to me.

I'm sure we both can agree: if it's not easy to quickly find a recipe we need, then we most likely won't use that book much.

But over the years, ten cookbooks in my own library have stood out. And today I'd like to share a list of them with you!

In this blog post, you'll see what I like about each of these cookbooks, what my favorite recipes are, and how easy each of them is to navigate (and why).

Some of my family's favorite recipes in these cookbooks I added to my personal account of my meal planning app, Veg Easy. This way, if I want to make that recipe in the upcoming week, I can easily add its ingredients to my grocery shopping list for that week.

(Did you know that you can add your own favorite recipes to your Veg Easy account too? They'll stay in your account only, so you're OK copyright-wise.)

Anyway, see my cookbook list over here:

Happy Tuesday!
